I thought I'd share a few photos from my current USA/Canadian tour. Its my first time using filters which consist of a modded holder for 85mm filters so that they work on FF @ 17mm.

Nice set Paul...I have been fortunate to visit these locations on a number of occasions and you have captured them well.
Only comment apart from that would be the one from the Merced River and maybe lose the bush to the left hand side which is out of focus and slightly distracting?

Hi, A lovely set and they bring back some happy memories of this area.(y)

1. Very nice, tad over saturated or maybe a tad too cool on colour temp
2. Nice light there, could maybe do with a stronger FG
3. Pleasant composition and good lead in, but flatter light
4. Strong composition and the filters given a nice strong sky
5. Nicely framed with the bush in the LHS and good movement in the water
6. Great composition, light etc

Very nice set, love the El Capitan shot. One day I hope to get there my self!

Some nice stuff I love N06 and 2 is good.

I have been to Yosemite but that was before I got back into photography

Thanks for all of the kind comments (as well as the suggestions etc.).

This trip has been a bit frustrating in terms of photography as it is primarily a climbing trip and the type around these venues means lugging the 5dii around just isn't feasible. I'm glad when it has come out to play (usually in a rush) that I still know how to work it!

My trusty S95 now comes everywhere with us but we managed to smash the screen when it disagreed with a lump of granite.

Really, I've been craving an X100s and being free'd from the weight of a full frame sensor and lenses!

Ohhhh what a set. You just made me want to go back to Yosemite immediately. There's nothing quite like driving Tioga.
