I'm looking for a camera mount that will fit over my car (Landrover Freelander) door with window down or over the glass with window part way down so that I can stabilize camera and lens and take images from the drivers seat.

Has anyone any suggestions.

PS Camera and lens is Canon 7D MkII and 100-400 L MkII.

Thanks for the bean bag ideas, however I think I'm looking for something more fixed.

Wildlife Watching Supplies C14 Double Car Bean Bag is a great solution to have and works incredible well, I did a review of it in the field if you are interested in reading more about it with some images I managed to capture thanks to it :)

Looks good, however you sit much higher in a Land Rover and so the top of the door is at elbow height, whereas in a car it is more mid upper arm, and therefore camera on beanbag on door would not be at eye level.

Just an idea but i have set a Benbo tripod up in the passenger side and used it,a bit tricky but great when its set up.

Fat Gecko are another brand to consider (suction mount, so may offer added stability).
