Car Door / Window Camera Mount

I'm looking for a camera mount that will fit over my car (Landrover Freelander) door with window down or over the glass with window part way down so that I can stabilize camera and lens and take images from the drivers seat.

Has anyone any suggestions.

PS Camera and lens is Canon 7D MkII and 100-400 L MkII.

I have the ErgoRest Multi Tripod Stand (although no longer manufactured ) which is very sturdy and can be used very successfully on a car window and elsewhere. - see here for review and other suggestions - They occasionally pop up in the classifieds or on eBay..................

Looks good, however you sit much higher in a Land Rover and so the top of the door is at elbow height, whereas in a car it is more mid upper arm, and therefore camera on beanbag on door would not be at eye level.

Just an idea but i have set a Benbo tripod up in the passenger side and used it,a bit tricky but great when its set up.

Fat Gecko are another brand to consider (suction mount, so may offer added stability).

It may not be what you need but anyone thinking of buying a beanbag should instead consider a length of that cylindrical insulating foam used for water pipes. It has a slit along one side which fits over the window glass and holds the foam quite steady.
