Nice and sharpe and focus spot on. Cant seem to get on with my 50mm 1.4 on D610 focus seems to be out and awkward focal length for FF. Did you fine tune the lens?

Hi bobman,
I've not done the focus fine tune, but it's something I would certainly consider. I'm quite pleased with the sharpness as it is for now.

The focal length works quite well for general use actually, must more so then on a crop sensor I've found.

Nice eye contact, we have 2 cats plus many other hairy, feathery family members and they seem to be my first test shot too.

I prefer the corrected WB.

My daughter's cats (a Siamese and a moggie) expect to be 'paid' to pose...smoked salmon usually does the trick.
