CF Reader for iMac

Any suggestions?

Ive got a cheapo usb 2.0 reader at the moment but it seems slow as hell.

Ive had a look for a firewire 800 (its a 2011 imac btw) reader but there seems to be few about.

Will a decent brand USB 2.0 suffice?

my usb2 lexar pro will empty an 8Gb card in 4 mins ish if thats any quicker?

thats on windows but im sure theyre cross platform.

Thats pretty quick to be fair, that seems way quicker than my current reader. Thanks.

I have a Sandisk Extreme usb2 reader with my iMac, works fine and very quick but to be honest, you won't get much better than a Lexar reader. They are the ones bundles with Eye-fi cards because they are guaranteed to work with just about everything.
The Lexar will work fine with your Mac.
