Yes
This Chaffinch was taken on the way back from a nature reserve on Dartmoor a few weeks ago. The reserve was a small clump of trees in a valley, consisted of stunted 300 year old oak trees, just showing how hard it is for trees on Dartmoor. The branches were all covered by moss and lichen and the ground full of bolders and ferns. It looked exactly like it had come out of a horror film.

I assume it's a male right?:)

yes its a male, nice shot, although the bird doesnt feel right in the centre of the frame, is it a crop ? try cropping with the bird to the left of the framewith space to the right and it should give it a better feel :)

Cool, I didn't think of that. I have a tendency to frame birds in the centre for some reason, I need to get out of that habit. It's not a crop. :)
