This year marks 140 years since the original ILFORD company was founded. To celebrate we are hiding a unique Silver Ticket inside one of our most popular black and white ILFORD films.

I have visions of a huge room in the factory that looks like a rural scene with a river flowing through it except, instead of the grass and trees being made out of candy and the river of chocolate, it will be a river of Ilfotec.

Not quite, but the biggest darkroom ever with red lit oompalumpas packing paper, and the truly awesome film coating line running in total darkness. Oh and the smell of thymol in the cold store full of blocks of emulsion. That was during my visit a few years ago.
