cheap nikon 35mm 1.8

bought some bits from these guys on Thursday and it arrived friday signed for delivery, even though they didnt offer that as a postage option. hope your lens comes through as quickly as my bits.

oh, and i just got a 35mm f1.8..... its fab! :)

I'm also after this lens as my general purpose to replace the kit 18-55mm. Hoping it can be had second-hand though as I don't feel like forking out £160 for it!

In reality, how much difference will I notice in usual daytime conditions between this lens and my 18-55mm kit on the D40?
 
Think for a saving of £20 I would rather have 12 months UK warranty than 3 months sellers warranty!
 
you can get 6% cashback from jessops if you go via quidco.. not much but brings the price down a wee bit :)

Quidco is on the whole site. Although I thought it was 4%. I used it on my recent D700 purchase and got £95 back, they work it out without vat on the purchase.

I know, but Quidco also displays an additional 5% off if you use the voucher code "QUIDCOFIVE" only for Jessops to say it's only on selected products. It's like their £100 off £1000 purchases (excluding lenses and cameras). :bang:
 
read this bit of the thread about 2 weeks to late... just spent 1500 at jessops online! gutted!
