Cheapest Nikon Lenses

I'm trying to find some very cheap lenses to work with an old Nikon F-601 body.

Anything compatible will do. Not too bothered about sharpness/focal length/speed.

Can't find anything on eBay less than £35ish - was really after something in the single digits if possible.

Any ideas?

You could see if you can find a 35-70 AF-D, keep an eye on Ebay.

You won't find anything under £10 though, if you really want to spent a single digit figure!

I was hoping for some obscure plasticky chinese type lens that was compatible.

Just to test out the camera, really.

well if you want to test it properly, you'll need to buy an autofocus lens, and I can't think of any at that price.

Or if you happen to be anywhere near Cambridge, I can lend you a lens to test.

I remember some cheap 50mm 1.7 lenses going cheap in Jessops when they closed down. Cant remember the brand, but they might be worth an ebay search?

Are you testing it with the plan being to use the camera?

If so, why not get a reasonable lens and risk having to pick up another cheap body???
