Just been watching the rugby - late try by Wales

Forced kick off by the french - as soon as the ball goes dead, game over -

So French kicked it off, and deliberatley screwed up.... to end the game..

its what the scots shouldve done a couple weeks ago. the french were more switched on and played the superior rugby! the welsh were rubbish and couldnt even score when the french were down to 14 men.

am i gutted about the scoreline? nope... not at all. love thy neighbour dont exist and the welsh are the most ignorant of them all. wooden spoon for wales hopefully.
 
They always cheat and very often get away with it and why the hell did they end up with man of the match, should have gone to 2 of our lads hands down!!

Wales need to play like they have inthe 2nd half from the start though not just in the 2nd half!!!!!!!

Agree that Wales should have scored a couple of times when the CESM's down to 14 men.

Trying to call tomorrows main game - as Irish were absolute crap last time out and O'Driscoll is questionable, however we were not exactly convincing against Italy! I guess more penalties as opposed to tries. Am expecting a convincing Scottish victory though!

sorry mate but the indiscipline cost you heaps. great 60 minutes then it went further south than antarctica. i wasnt too happy about it either. but i was surprised as i wasnt expecting scotland to even get anywhere near as close that day.

20-0 up at half time, thats superior. and kicking the ball into touch to kill the game, well thats just being level headed. why give the opponents a chance to score another try? not that would happen (maybe) but its eliminating the risk and 80 minutes is 80 minutes, not like the 85 minutes the welsh played to beat the scots. 5 mins extra time sir alex would have had a fit losing :lol:
 
Was far from the best of games and unfortuantely the better team on the evening one, two kicks not kicked into touch and some stupid give aways!!!

I gave up after the first half but was on the edge of my seat during the second where I thought we stood a chance of winning!

As for the Welsh being the most ignorant of the lot, I did have to giggle, at least when we play badly we admit it rather than the typical English way of finding excuses as to how you should have won but every man and his dog was conspiring towards you...

I wonder where the attitudes of Scotland/Irish & Wales comes from in that we'll support our own countries or anyone who plays England :)

I hate the French as much as anyone, but cant blame them for that. What would the Welsh have done had it been reversed?
 
France Wales...the first half was so poor I switched channels.
I watched the first and last quarter of the Italian match... also not good... but it will encourage the Italians.
Watched most of the England Irish Match...also not good.... But at least the Irish made the most of their few chances. England attack was rubbish... Irish defence solid.
 
Well we can't all be superior in white I suppose, I would'nt trade the passion and pride that we express just for the win,I was brought up to play for the honour and pride of representing your country. As for the uninmagineative rugby the English play at the moment it's killing the great game of rugby,please use 15 men not 8

nah, the first half was brilliant, how embarrassing for the welsh monkeys to give away freebies! they so overrate themselves.

the second match of the weekend was interesting as it was fight to avoid the wooden spoon. wont be long before the italians will conquer the welsh :thumbs:

last game was superb. thoroughly enjoyed watching the game and the irish were on top form... why couldnt they play better 2 weeks ago? they cheated a bit against france in my opinion and deserved to lose. hope o'driscoll is okay after stretchered off.

would of been surprised if they'd done anything else - this has been a poor 6 nations, but don't think that was cheating

Agree, the Wales v Scotland/France have been the only exciting ones.Not through pure rugby excellence alas.

no - I made the mistake of going to the England/Ireland match yesterday - poor game and a waste of money
 
I still think we are far behind the SH lot. I expected a better championship this year, very disappointing so far. England more than anyone, the Italy game the other weekend was simply woeful.
 
I know that pretty much every one would have done the same, but to me, just not sporting........ as for the mighty Bokke, gonna have to disagree on that one!
