I will NEVER go near them again!!
Little darling (3 or 4 years old) saw the camera and pictures and decided that they wanted their picture taken, not a great problem except that they wanted it not in the garden or anywhere nice but in the workshop after all thats where dad does things - its also got tools (broom, shovel etc) propped against the walls and is hardly a "nice" background. I am not allowed to move the tools and the picture had to be taken here :shake: final picture has handles growing out of their head and one shoulder, and a lawnmower growing from the other shoulder. Tried the give me a nice smile for the picture - BIG mistake - the nice smile means lips close together in the vague shape of a smile and eyes tightly shut :bang: Little monster chooses their favorite picture and I print it (well I cropped it and showed the little monster which button to press so of course it was all the monsters work)
cue one VERY happy monster bouncing around showing mummy and daddy what they had done all by themselves!!!
At least there is a very happy monster tonight with probably the most incorrect picture you could imagine that is now a total work of art, and parents who think I am great

How the hell do you get them to look happy when you are doing a photo - all the ones anyone else takes has a nice clean child smiling happily for the camera - I get a grubby monster who has a very odd idea of what a smile is!
