I have been asked to photograph a lovely lady who shall we say is slightly on the chunky side (Curvy) but she is paranoid about showing a double chin on close ups.....Any ideas how to get round this????

Shoot from slightly above and have her look up to the camera slightly. If she pushes her head forward a little as well that will also help.

Perhaps pose her with her head resting on her hands/arms in some shots as well

Micheal,

I think you could problably shot from above her eye height meaning she would have to raise her head slightly therefore removing the dreaded double chin? Just an idea.

As above. But, if all else fails I find a large bulldog clip attached to the back of the neck works :)

Actually the old "selotape/duct tape facelift" works well as does the classic "myspace angle" shot

Stand her next to a pile of crumpets ! ... at least she will look better :D
