What is wrong with the education system in this country when somebody cannot put together a simple statment. Regarding the post, photographing lights can be a bit tricky to avoid flare around the light. Oh by the way this will be my last post.

When are you going? The best thing I can advise would be to get outside now and practice in normal street light conditions.
Use Aperture priotity, set around f/8 or f/11, iso around 200 and whatever shutter speed the camera says.
Try that as a basic template and have a play around with it.
You haven't said what camera you have, what lenses you have, if you have a tripod or how good your basic knowledge is of photography and of the exposure triangle.
Without knowing what type of camera you have it is hard to advise. You may only have a point and shoot with little to no manual control.
