Not sure is this belongs in the macro section


First time using my flash properly since I got it from a fellow TP'er a couple of weeks ago. I know I should have put down something underneath the glass, and the crop is a bit iffy, on top of these what would you suggest I could do to make this better?

Oh, and the shadow from the lolly, do you think it would look better without it?

Had another quick go. Changed the angle to cut out the distracting bottom section and another couple of changes.

really like the second. The first was fine technically but the changes you've made improve it no end

Lovin' them both, #1 has the edge sharpness wise but #2 is spot on, great capture

It's at the top of my to-do list for indoor photography. I've got a list of items to get from tesco including the cheap fizzy water.
