489 registry errors

448 junk file errors

3 broken shortcut errors.. :shrug:

Where the hell do i start .... can anyone tell me how serious this is ,and is there an easy fix (probably not knowing the way my weeks going :thumbsdown

I wouldn't run anything until I'd backed up my important stuff.

Sounds like you've downloaded one of those programs that tells you allsorts of twaddle.

Used pc analyzer in AVG

Ran Ccleaner . Still the same amount of registry errors ,junk errors was down to 133 and the shortcut errors just the same

Yip. Every time I run mine it finds a fair few just from things like uninstalled programs, updates etc.

unfortunately software developers have a nasty habbit of letting their uninstall routines leave an unnecessary amount of files and registry keys..

not a problem just let ccleaner do its thang. just remember to check your recycle bin before you let it empty it for you...

Run ccleaner on the cleaner section, then on the registry. Then run it again on the registry and yet again if necessary until no more errors come up. It actually does work quite well.

As recommended about use ccleaner. You could first use the " analyse" before actually clearing/fixing anything. Also take a backup the registry (ccleaner will ask you) before fixing ...so you could restore, however I never used this feature.
