Clients new website - None Photo

Yep these were all set by the client lol. i have been asking for the about us page for months.

Working on the validating css and html, google search screws it. other than that?

when you say aggressive how do you mean?

in google chrome your search in the top right, there is no gap between it and the tabs.

Q&A seems standard to me.

Logo letters have rough curves due to their size, looks bad.

I can't see why a shed company would be bothering with Twitter, it's not really like people are in the market for more than one shed so would be interested in special deals :)

I quite like the basic design of the site, however there are a few grammatical errors and inconsistencies - for example, referring to "we" on one page and "I" on another, "Contact Us" "Follow Me on Twitter" and so on and an awful lot of extraneous commas that seem,to, have, been added, randomly to the text.

The "Customer review" in particular makes for really painful reading.

"Q&A and FAQ" - you don't need both

FAQ's - should be FAQs

How to guides - should be "How to" guides

The Blog - personally I'd advise the client to ditch this, it appears to have little to do with the site ("Why use a Mortgage Advisor,Broker") and is poorly written.

Twitter - I can't believe 44 people are following a shed company's tweets

thanks all, i will amend with our proof reader, blog is next to useless, his mortgage post is for his mate.

twitter is just a spam heaven its going.

cheers

Only thing I'm not so keen on is the google search tbh. If it was searching the site then fair enough, but it's posting results from google search to the companies competitors. If the search engine showed the site at the top of the results suppose that would be acceptable, but it's not.

Or am I missing the point ?
