South-West England Colmer hill - Dorset

Hi, looking to the shoot the iconic seven sisters near westbay while on holiday in a couple of weeks. Just like to ask for the safest place to park(don't mind paying) and the best vantage point. Not sure if sunrise or sunset would be better to shoot, hell I'll do both depending on weathers kind to me. Any help would be appreciated.

Have you got your locations confused? Colmer's Hill is no where near the Seven Sisters?

Hi jake, heard that the trees atop the hill are nicknamed the seven sisters. Perhaps that's wrong but the hill is Colmer hill.

I'm sure the actual seven sisters is in Sussex somewhere I've never been but need to.

That's Copt Hill near Sunderland
I was thinking you were on about the Seven Sisters (white cliffs).

Thanks jake another awesome location. The person who told me must have got his wires crossed with the trees and hills. Have you ever been to Colmer hill? The shots I've seen are stunning

I've not been no, I've seen some nice shots from Mark Bauer.
It's a great morning spot if it's misty!

Theres a small space to park your car at quarr lane right next to the A35.

Walk up Quarr lane and you''ll come across some gates, theres a public footpath that leads up on top of the hill, Colmers hill is oposite and you should get some nice views from here.

Wear some wellies, its utterly covered in sheep sh1t.
