OS windows 10.
laptop has only a single hdmi 2.0 port (no display port or dvi)
dual graphics, uhd Intel 630 and Nvidia 1060 6GB
The monitor is an old Dell 2007WFP with a dvi-d ( I do have a cable with hdmi on one end and a dvi connector on the other.)I used this setup on an old win7 laptop without issue.
I find windows 10 very confusing and it’s been years since I had the win7 setup done so hence I am on here asking for advice. I am not a Computer boffin so bear with me. What possibilities are there to run the setup? Can I have the desktop on the laptop but the editing program on the second external monitor? Can both screens be colour calibrated when being used or just one at a time? I find it confusing with the dual gpu setup, my editing software acdsee 2020 says it makes use of GPU acceleration so how do I know which gpu is being used?
