I have been doing colourizations for fun really, but I showed one I had done to a friend and they wanted to know how I had done it so I have made a tutorial.

So is the idea of this that you convert a photo to greyscale and then build the colour back up how you wish?

Yes basically, or if you have just a black and white photo originally and want it in colour. It works any way you want I suppose.

I only found out how to do it with wanting to learn photoshop myself so I just fiddle around making graphics.
