Yes
My FIL wants a compact for general use and with a good zoom for wildlife (going on a nature-based major holiday). He specifically wants a compact for the small size (not a bridge - I've asked), and one with interchangeable lenses possibly. His budget is around the £300 mark (I know, I know!). He doesn't know too much about photography so will be likely shooting auto all the time.

Cheers in advance!

Look at the MFT cameras and lenses, you could buy a good second one for that kind of money.
I have both the Olympus E-PL5 and E-PM1, coupled with a pancake lens it fits my pockets nicely.
With a zoom lens, only needs a smallish waist/shoulder/belt bag.

It's not interchangeable lenses though!
At 20x zoom, I found it a struggle to get sharp images with such a light camera, IMO of course.
Not used one of these, but have used other makes of compacts with big zooms.
Also there is a newer model of this camera costing not that much more.

Thanks! Yes- he thought interchangeable lenses might be a good thing. Just noticed the newer model, cheers!
