Computer Monitor

I'm ready for a new external monitor for my laptop - large size - say 23" or bigger to enable me to play around with my pics in photoshop and actually see what's going on!
The 13" screen of the lappie just doesn't do it!

Any thoughts on a decent monitor?

The Dell Ultrasharp range get good reviews. I've got a Dell 2209WA (22") and very happy with it.

I've got the 2209WA as well - supposed to have a higher quality panel than most monitors of that price bracket.

It's worth having a look at the HP LP2475W as well. Good monitor.

2209WA too.

Bear in mind it can suffer from dead pixels like any monitor.

Dell 2408WFP here. It's the 2209's big brother. It's a cracking display but it obviously costs more.

I've just taken delivery of a HP LP2475W. However I've got to wait until I get home tomorrow to actually play with it :-(

What about the bottom of the range Eizo - costs £400+VAT ? They say its a 24" monitor stuffed in a 22" case, whatever that means,.

I haven't seen it but I'm thinking about going in that direction....

Anyone else gone for a "pro" monitor?
