at the moment i can not afford a dedicated macro lens, so to the question, how does a reversing ring work? or am i barking up the wrong tree?.

thanks for that bigblue very interesting, now all i have to do is find a very, very cheap one!, (no i am not tight, lol, but on ssp at the mo, big pot on leg!
