I have just renewed my household contents policy and have been advised that the "All Risks Worldwide" section covers my camera equipment and does not need to have any individual items noted unless their value is £5,000
They can be found under HighWorthInsurance.co.uk (sorry that sounds a bit pretentious)
Have to say my policy is quite expensive (£740 p.a.) but that's for other reasons which "ordinary" policies couldnt cover, so if you need equipment insurance it may be worth giving them a call etc.
