Cosford air show

Im going to be going cosford air show sunday, this is my 1st time shooting aircraft ect does anyone have any helpful tips they can give me to get the best from my 1st effort at this...... Im going to be using a 400d with sigma 150-500mm apo dg os....... thanks.

Hi Andy,

No tips I'm afraid as it will be my first time too. I guess we'll have to experiment.

If you are photographing aircraft in flight, watch out for the exposure. If left on Auto the camera may give a false reading due to the large are of sky in the image. You may be better off shooting manually for exposure. You'll need to make some test exposures first to make sure you've got it right.

Nice fast shutter speed helps as well.
