Could we have a technical FAQ section

Over the few months I have been a member, I have seen numerous people asking qustions like:

What does the focal length of a lens mean
What is a crop factor
How does depth of field work
Should I use a UV filter
What is a RAW file

Could we not have a simple technical FAQ that could answer these questions? Or do we all like answering the same stuff every week?

Add to that:
How do you calculate hyperfocal distance.
Shall I buy Lee, Hitech or Cokin Grads.
What tripod should I buy.
How do I find out how many shutter actuations by body has completed.
What's the right focal length lens for (insert chosen subject).

I'm sure you can think of a few more examples.

Have a look in the tutorial section here, and the majority of questions have already been answered. I think this is a very underused section of the forum and could stop alot of regular questions. You can't make people look here first though.
