Cropping a video file

I would normally use an Adobe premier elements . With that you can cut and delete a video section quite easily . Example when this guy hit our car when my wife was driving. this was submitted to insurers and accepted without question . so I just cut and deleted all the video before and after. quite esasy to do with this editing suite

I would like to crop a dash cam video file about 45 seconds either side of a specific incident, I'd be grateful for any pointers towards software that I could use.
Thanks for looking.
If you’ve got a Mac or an iPhone.. takes seconds to do in the photos app on either iPhone or Mac. Just hit edit and then trim either end.

Not enopugh to be safe good drivers ourselves.. it's poeple like this..

DaVinci Resolve.

Good and free.

I'll second this, it's worth learning and lots of YouTube guides on it.

I used to love Freemake, really quick and easy to use with lots of features, but the free version now puts a logo across the screen. The paid version is $60, which isn't bad considering how versatile and powerful it is, but Davinci is free although a steeper learning curve.

Adobe Rush is good for quick video jobs like trimming clip.
