Excellent...I saw my first ever this weekend and managed to grab a shot of it in flight. Would love to get a detail shot like these though.
 
thanks guys :) was quite special because i had 2 cuckoos on the same tree, but not close enough to get pics of both together. Next time i visit my parents ill certainly be checking this location out again, specially as its one of my Barn Owl spots as well ;)
 
i would love to shoot one when i hear it at 4.30 in the morning.............. but not with my camera unfortunately ! great pics though ! well spotted :)
 
Second shot a cracker Ian, first would be a keeper in anyone's book...only managed seeing and capturing an image while on holiday in Hungary had never even heard any at home nor since lovely detail in 2... (y) (y)
