D2X question

As some may be aware I bought a s/h but new (unused) D2X a few days ago and it has had the D2Xs firmware update, so should my exif read as D2X or Xs as it shows X.
I am under the impression it should read X to keep the Xs seperate from updated Xes and not as an Xs, if this makes sense.

And perhaps a bottle of Tipex, so you could add the "s" to the logo on the front?

No...I didn't. Those sort of things usually go for daft money on Ebay

That firmware upgrade only worked for the X and not the XS, too BTW...
