I was just taking a look on ebay to get an idea of what prices D700s are and found someone in Birmingham selling them at £1599 new with lots of good feedback so sent a message asking about collection (got a response of no so not too impressed) then just for the laugh looked at D3s and found this.......

£1850 for a NEW D3 from the UK......... Something seems a little cod like to me......

Sent an email about collection, again telling him that if an offer seems to good to be true then it probably is :) Oh and his English is crap plus he has the resolution wrong in the features section. Looks to me like an account hijack !

That price is less than I would expect for a good second hand one.

there was some stolen recently as well !!!!!!!!!
 
Any D3 that is priced under £2,000 should be avoided.

Even HK imports arn't that cheap...£2,600 is the lowest I found for import, brand new.
 
I've just reported them to ebay's crime unit directly.

He has now listed D300s with 18-135 lenses at £900 inc :lol:

I tend to report 3 or 4 scams a day.. sometimes they react quickly... other times (ie EportUK) it seems to fall on deaf ears!
