D300 Problems

Having some problems with my d300, turned it on there and it won't focus and none of the buttons will work apart from the ones on the top (iso, wb and qual).

This is the third time its happened since i got it, the other two times it has just started working again but nothing seems to be making it work this time.

Anyone got any ideas?

Edit: I've tried it with two lenses and i get the problem.

Try doing a soft and hard reset

-soft reset, hold down Qual and +/- button (marked by Green dots) for 3 seconds
-hard reset, power up and use a biro to do a hard reset (by the serial number there is a small hole on the base), press in with biro or something pointy.

It probably needs a service though.

The reset seems to have done the trick, thanks for the help.

I think ill send 'er off for a service soon anyway though.
