D700 - NR on or not?

Hey guys,

Just got my D700 today. Do you all use NR on high sensitivities or turn it off?

Also does anyone know where I can find some good custom d700 settings lists?

With mine I always tended to leave it on the neutral setting, as any serious removal can really only be done in Photoshop/plug-ins

I leave it off on the D3 and just do it in Photoshop if I think it needs doing. I don't apply it very often though.

No need for NR. Just print.

I leave high ISO NR off, prefering to do it in PP if necessary. Same with long exposure NR, mainly because itn ties up the camera for a period equal to the long exposure while it does its dark exposure and the NR happens.

Custom settings are just that, CUSTOM. Sit down with the manual and camera and work through them setting your camera up for you.
