All,
I am looking at adding another body to my gear, specifically to be used either behind a goal or with a super wide angle/fish eye to get really close to the action.
Either to be positioned behind a football goal, above a basketball net etc. or for extreme sports like skateboarding and snowboarding etc. where the camera can be close to the action, but not me
Naturally, the body needs to be tough, and a fairly high frame rate. I already shoot with a D3S and a 1D MkIII, the thing is, which should I add for remote trigger?
In favour of the canon - already have a charger and a 17-40l that I hardly use, so can get going pretty quickly.
The D700 however, with a grip and D3 battery will shoot at 8fps and appears to have better high iso performance - is the high iso performance of the d700 much better than the 1d mkiii - which isn't all that bad in itself!
Thanks all!
