D7000 Err message

Hi,

My D7000 stopped working with a clunk on Thursday night while shooting the Scouts AGM/Presentation.
The LCD display flashed Err and that was about it!
No amount of removing the battery, flash, lens made the slightest difference so it's boxed up ready to go to Nikon for repair

Looking on the net it looks like a shutter fault. Hopefully Nikon will honour the 2 year warranty.

So I'll be without it for 2-4 weeks which is going to be a bit frustrating

Not meaning to teach you to suck eggs, but have you knocked the aperture ring from the highest f-number? I do it all the time with my 50mm f1.4 when I forget to fasten the lock and it gives an err message
