D70s problem

i have a d70s that will not turn off, have tried reset button,any other ideas?

Remove the battery.

Or try an exorcism.

thats the only way is removing the battery but its a pain all the time

it won't be worth repairing, if you are OK with dismantling it you should be able to fix the micro-switch.

There is a 50/50 chance that it could be lens contact related, remove the lens and give the contacts a clean with a pencil rubber, it may or may not help in this case, but it is surprising how many issues this will resolve.

Worth a try, it won't cost anything.
