D750/810 anyone own both?

I'm trying to decide between these two possibly to buy in the middle of the year. It's going to be a landscape camera but I will buy something like the 300mm pf so that I can have it as a back up wildlife camera. Obviously the extra res of the 810 appeals for its cropping.

Questions I have is which has the best AF and which has the least noise up to 6400. I've done a fair amount of browsing on the net but struggling to find a definitive answer. The 750 has the latest AF module so, in theory, should be better. The 810 is supposed to have the same AF as the D4.

I've also read that the 750 is a stop better than the 810 in noise.

Comments and thoughts appreciated.

Maybe worth having a read of this thread below, it may help. As mentioned elsewhere, your welcome to have a try of my D750 and I have the older AFS 300mm f4 lens, along with the Nikon 1.4TC. From what I have read there's not much difference optically with the newer PF version over the older. The new PF is lighter and gains VR as you probably know.

I don't own both, but have recently hired a D750 (along with a D4s) to try out as I'm looking for a second body to compliment my D810. I spent an hour or two doing geeky tests comparing them, and then spent a whole day in the field shooting working dogs in action.
From my observations, the D750 will definitely acquire focus better in low light (almost to the point that you wouldn't even consider handholding!), however it lagged behind when tracking fast moving subjects. The D810 tracked the dogs better, and gave me a higher keeper rate than the D750. Incidentally, both cameras couldn't get anywhere the D4S's ability to track, but I suppose that is to be expected.
Regarding noise, I'd say the D750 is slightly better than the D810 (almost as good as the D4s), although I think at high ISO's the D810 retains detail better (probably due to the extra resolution). Once I downsized the D810 images to the same resolution, I'd say the D810 was equal to, if not slightly better than the D750 for noise.
Both the D810 and D750 have incredible dynamic range, and are quite forgiving regarding exposure, I'm sure you've seen examples online of increasing exposure in Lightroom by 5 stops and it still looks acceptable?
As you say your main interests are landscape and wildlife, I'd personally go for the D810. The extra resolution allows for some serious cropping if required, and the lack of that filter thing over the sensor really does make a difference regarding SOOC sharpness. Its also a better camera ergonomically IMO.
I really wanted to like the D750 (and buy one), but it just didn't live up to the D810, at least not for my usage (neither did the D4S but thats another story).
Its not that expensive to hire this stuff for the weekend, so I really recommend you hire both as only you can decide which is best for you in the long run. I'm really glad I did, as if I had gone by internet reviews alone, i'd of bought a D750 in a heartbeat.
