price gap is widening on A - what is the real difference between these two ? which should i buy ? Given that if i go for 800 its extra for the lenses
did you watch my link says it all really
Not in my view.
Price difference is around £250 now in the UK
£2299 for the E.
When I got the E, the difference in price was a lot smaller. If I was buying today, I'd go standard, but I love the idea that non E owners love to moan about it like it matters![]()
I have diligently compared test images of the two on dpreview and found the difference in image sharpness to be marginal, not something I as a non pro user would care about. Then there is the moire issue. I think for general purpose photography the non-e is the more versatile camera.
Cheapest i can find is 2349 and 1929 for the D800. I'm saving the 410 toward a good lens like one of the pro prime or the new 70-200 f4
