Some results at pulling the maximum from the DR
and sharpness from the combo D850 attached to
600 mm ƒ4 after AF Fine Tune.

Very impressive. Some serious sensor behind that mirror.

On a side note. I much prefer the rendered image SOOC to the PP’d version, looks much crisper and cleaner.
 
How about a 50mm or 35mm. Long lenses like that are sharp as hell anyway

A SOOC capture is unprocessed — read
not rendered — just converted!

This is not right as absolute verdict!

Long lenses captures are more selective (AoV) and
so better describe what I wanted to illustrate. :cool:

It still has the default software settings applied to the RAW though, right? Which is still processed, albeit without manual input.

In that sense, no one can know what a SOOC RAW file
looks like then. As it's said in QP: one can't observe and
not disturb!

For sure, Capture One will not ignore the D850's file and
Nikon's camera profile nor the lens profile. I don't know how
Capture One's colour engine will affect a file prior to post-
processing though.
