D90 RAW files not opening

hi All - a friend of mine has just bought a D90 and he cannot get the RAW files to open.
He has downloaded the updates to CS2 and CS3 but still no joy.
Any ideas please.
Appreciate any help.

Found the answer......need CR 5.1 to open D90 RAW files and CS4.

I use a D90 and open RAW files in CS3 with no problem.

Hmm!! looking on this link http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=4064 it also mentions the D700....but my D700 RAW files open in CS3 and ACR4.1 so I'm confused.....thought the problem was solved so any advice please.

Dave,

I may be wrong but think that when you use the Adobe Updater to get updates it doesn't do plug-ins like Camera Raw - you need to look those up individually.

Haven't a clue mate. If you can point me in the right direction, I'll find out for you.

According to this thread at the top of the page you need Camera Raw 4.6 which can be downloaded from here.

Camera Raw 4.6 is only compatible with CS3 and later. And Elements 6&7 and later.
