I have a durst 605 colour. So far I’ve been using 8x10 paper. I want to get some 11x14 to make some bigger prints and have a paper that fits 35mm better. If I want to re print a photo on 11x14 that I’ve printed on 8x10 is there a quick way of working out how much extra time I’ll have to expose the paper for using the distance scale on the enlarger?

There are various formulas based on the inverse square law, such as:

New exposure time = ((New elevation / Old Elevation) ^2) X Original Exposure

I would estimate using the above, and run a few test strips to get the exposure spot-on.

Mines got 2 scales so I’ll have to do some research, looks a bit confusing on the actual enlarger!

It will be 1.925 times the 10X8 exposure duration if you print the same image area.

Are we just wanting a rough idea or are we hoping to print 11x14 straight off the bat, because I don't see you not doing a test strip no matter what.
A rough guess for additional time is really just a beginning, a new start point for a test strip.
