I think the fair way to do it is for the first person to post the image should name the next bird and as such Canonitis should name the bird as his is posted first of all.I will pm him to read this thread and name the bird--thanks for highlighting this and appologies to Artyman for the confusion.

Seems this thread has died a death.

Last thing to complate the thread is for anyone who has an image of a UK bird which hasnt been shown on previous pages then please add the image to the thread ( no longer looking for birds to be named now ).

Just find a bird in your library and post if its not posted before--clean and simple
