One of those things that I might have heard/read in the past, but are some star visible during daylight?

I took this around 2 this afternoon while waiting for some red kites to return.

 
The only star we can see during the day is the Sun and thats not very often these days:bang:

Thing is, I noticed a couple of the dots when taking that shot and took another when the glider moved on. The main triangle I noticed is obvious in the second shot as well as random dots around the photo.

Other poor shots I took of the red kites in the same place do not have random spots, but then, the birds were not as far away as the glider :thinking:
