Dead Tree

Hello,
This is what spring looks like in my town.

Composition intended to transfer chilly morning mood, with dead tree on top the hill with town life in the background. Green colours are emphasised to rebirth of spring life after the winter season. Artificial vignetting added to emphasise middle part of the frame.

Yet I'm not sure, maybe the picture is overcooked? Colours slides were used extensively on green and blue tones.
Or on such a gloomy day, maybe it is best use B&W altogether?

I like what you are trying to do here, but unfortunately, the background is so cluttered you have lost the subject for me. If poss, yuo could have shot from a lower angle to try and lose the housing ?

needs some separation...otherwise a good study
