After several hours and lots of temptation from Slimbert's camera bag...

I am staying with Pentax, and looking for somewhere with a K5 in stock at <£800 delivered.

Some will say I am foolish, but too much invested in Pentax equipment and lenses.... to make it financially viable to change (barring a significant windfall courtesy of the Euromillions!)

The K-m and stuff I don't use is nearly sold so hopefully a K5 later this week!

Can understand not wanting to swap. I'm too far down the Canon route - although do have 'Nykon' envy some days. BUT, and this may start an argument - it's not all about cameras, and I've decided to stick with Canon and just improve my abilities rather than worry about kit!!

oh we all have dark side and light side envy........... the canonists bleat about silly ISO from the Nikon whotsit, and the nikons bleat about white lens = pro.

I just prefer the niche market - if it's good enough for Mr Bailey.........

Played with one of Don Slim's 7D's the other day, the way the IS works in the lens is scary and odd.......

One huge advantage of the pentax is IS is in the camera so can really much bolt any pentax lens ever onto the front........ (ok a lot of them are crap, but that's a moot point!)
