a spec like that can be very niche. and you could make a new sandybridge i7 with 16gb for about the price he wants to start bidding at for 2nd hand 1st gen i7 kit..

I know its a pain, but you should split all that and then sell.

to be honest i dont even think its worth doing that, its still 2nd hand kit that you could buy new for that price.
