Yes
I only use a Pringle tube with on board flash for macro, with cap on and clear plastic bag on end for diffuser, looking for a decent material to make light from flash not so harsh, any ideas.

I made a 'soft-box' for macro a few years back that was basically a carboard box lined with tin-foil and a dried out baby wipe as the diffuser :D it actually worked not so bad.

Something as simple as this can work:

Use an old milk carton as already suggested or some stiff white paper [not cardboard, something the light can get through]

Or something like this, buy a tub of ice cream or yogurt with a suitable lid -

Thanks, going down the milk carton route, I will cut circles from carton, and put in bottom of tube.
