Well did some research on Digi Photo frames and decided on.
http://www.wedodigital.co.uk/produc...nctional-digital-photo-frame-1gb/vas-dpf120a/

Well first was non fuctional, looked like a return item especially as battery removed from remote. This was about 20th of August.

Returned using a free post address after phoning up same day it arrived and sending back same day.

Told no stock do i want refund or wait? said i would give them another chance.

Getting fed up with waiting when recieved mail to say another been shipped.

This arrived last week.

Checked it and this one turned on, but 1 dead pixcel a thunder bug or something under screen right in the middle, the screen glued in the acrylic frame at a slight angle so slight border to one side and a very slight slope to the image.

Emailed and told they would check it once returned and if fault they would replace although i had asked for a refund they said it had been to long since order.

Called them up and complained was told they would get manager to call back or email if i had left for work.

No call no mail so sent another mail stating wanted refund as i had only just recieved it they had taken such a long time delivering another not my fault its so long since order.

Recieved another mail stating if fault they will refund as long as everything intact unopened, "excuse me you open them before shipping supposedly to see they work ok" I have to open it to check it....Doh.

Anyway phoned to get the freepost number as im not paying to return it and got a nice assistant that had no problem giving me the freepost code. Had informed her that they had breached my consumer rights.

Sent email as well, to inform them its going to freepost address.
Also that when they said its 8 weeks since initial order and you cannot have a refund straight out if no fault i corrected them with.

Under consumer law on distance selling that if product not arrived within 30 days im entitled to a full refund irrespective.

So you have cut your own throat Mr Dibbler. ( didnt put the last bit in the e-mail)

So will post off and hopefully get my refund without anymore problems.

Bit of a rant but hope others are more aware of there rights.
All the best,
James

Another e-mail today,
With thank you for your reply and if there is a fault we will refund you.

So another sent back,
Thank you for your reply but as you are so proud to say initial order was 8 weeks ago and you took longer than 30 days to send another unit.
Under the distance selling rules you breach my statuatory rights.
Im entitled to a full refund.

Well sent back frame and attached letter on the 10th of October,

waited till the 20th to ensure it got there,

2 days of checking why no refund and then success.

The manager who i had been having the e-mails with about my rights had left a message for the other minions that the refund was done and would show in a few days.

It did and with my postage costs refunded as well,
thats the postage they had charged for initial delivery as the other returns i sent back using there free post code,
that they wont give unless you call them and insist for it.

So after another frame now in the 10" size if possible and i think glass fronted.
Oh well better get looking again.
