Has anyone else received their subscription copy of Digital Camera Mag today. On looking through mine I've found pages 99-130 missing completely and 3 copies of the other pages. I've complained to them and they said they will send me another copy. What I am wondering though is if they have sent out the same rubbish copies to everyone. A major mistake if they have. I wonder how long the printers will stay in a job.:nono::thinking::bang:

youre better getting it from a store, at least you can check it before you buy. (my opinion)

Glad i saw this mine too is like this.. Who do i contact please? Have you a email address or anything

 mine seems fine...

I cancelled my subscription in a temper last month because they forgot to send me my free gift of a Lowepro bag until they ran out. It worked out OK in the end though as they sent me a better one. This was my last copy on subscription. I think they've got it in for me.:suspect:

Keep it, it could be worth something in a few years :)

How you mean by this?

A misprinted copy of a mag can be worth more than a good copy to a collector a few years down the road.

HI

recieved mine today and mines all ok:)

My hubby got a book from a book club once, he read it halfway then found out it started from the beginning again. Not a happy chappy.

Mine is fine too, although pages 99-130 are pretty much the bits I dont read anyway! lol

I might put a complaint in about that awful jessops cd welded to one of the pages.

Im guessing the printers are the same ones who make CEWE PHOTO BOOKS as every book i get from this company is a laugh infact its not a laugh but its a bloody joke and i will be publishing every one of my problems on every photography forum on the internet in order to deter customers from buying the products from this so called company (off topic i know) but god almighty this company deserves to go to the wall imo :bang::bang::bang:

mines okay too barbara, but as i've read it..i can send you the missing pages should you want ;)
Thanks for the offer Mark, but they have promised to send me a correct copy in the next few days, hubby wanted to look at the review of Compact cameras and of course it wasn't there. I'm glad yours was OK though.

In answer to everyone else, I'm glad that there were only a few that were duff. I wonder what they would have done if they had printed everyone wrongly.:gag:

Odd for some to be fine and some to be knackered, usually a full run will be wrong. *** most mags are created in 16 page blocks then stitched together (if its perfect bound).

What it looks like they have done, is put 2 copies of the 16 page blocks in and then missed out the correct one.
:bang:

Mine seems okay,
However the whole mag seems to be a repeat from one not so long ago:lol:
Think i might cancel my subs anyway, so i can then just buy it if theres anything in it theat catches my eye. All the mags are the same these days, i know there is only so much you can cover before repeating something, but its becoming a joke.
TP is the best source for info by a mile.
Dean:)

I cancelled my subs a couple of months back. The mag is forever repeating the same style of article, and their interest in their customers is laughable to say the least.

I now spend half an hour in the local newsagents once a month having a browse through camera mags to see if anyone has articles of interest.

Unsurprisingly, DC mag doesn't!

As a printer, you do sometimes get pages that are wrong, but normally these are spotted before they go to print, or before they are stitched together, they may be a couple of make ready's that may be bad but these are normally thrown away, they may have been included accidently during that process.
