Digital Medium Format Thread

Nice, I was in House Of Fujifilm today, looked at the RF and thought as much as I like shines new toys, I’ll stick with what I have

Meanwhile my son was positively dribbling over the GFX Eterna 55, seems I’ve passed the spending gene down :ROFLMAO:

Look forward to seeing what you produce from the RF
It's my mission to convert you, brace yourself :ROFLMAO:

I've had the GFX 50 SII for about a year now and have managed to also get a couple of primes in that time along with the 35-70. Such a beautiful camera both in terms of output and to use.

I did a bit of a brief write up here for those interested or who are thinking of pulling the trigger...

Does anyone own the Hasselblad XCD 135mm lens?
I've been thinking about it for a while and just pulled the trigger on the lens with the 1.7 teleconverter.

It'll pair with my X2D II and it'll need be nice to get a little bit of extra reach as I"m currently limited to the 90mm.
I have it and its my favorite portrait lens it also cam with the 1.7 TC but I fairly use thatFon-Eyes-only_0028.jpg

It is a beautiful camera and great value on the used market now. I have one I'm thinking of parting with as in my work - social doc, events, etc - I tend to reach for my Sony, and for personal work it's often on film, but the output of the GFX is unbeatable.

Here's a shot of a steel recycling works in Sheffield, made with my Fuji GFX 50SII and the 50mm 3.5, 1/250 at f4, ISO 2000. Shooting jpg only on Acros is a joy.
