Disused Motel in Infrared

Took this shot a few months ago and only just got around to editing. Anyway it was taken using my dedicated Nikon D70IR camera, shot in Raw and edited in Photoshop. The subject is a old disused Motel, which has given me lots of great shots over the years.

Thanks for your comments. It has been a while since I have done much IR stuff.

I do have plenty of coloured IR images, by swapping the red and blue channels, I will post some soon.
 
:thinking: I'm undecided about this one . . . but I do want to keep going back and looking at it which must be a good thing.

I love IR shots and you've got a great subject that's composed well. Something just isn't quite working for me though and I can't put my finger on what it is.
I think maybe it's that the foreground grass is just a bit too white. As said above, I'd really like to see this as a colour IR conversion rather than B&W to see how that comes out.
