Do I need model release

Hi guys

I want to add a portfolio to my website showing the best of my sports photography. So far the images will contain the recent ones I took at a U16 rugby match this week.

Am I ok to post these images on my site?

If taken in a public place yes. If taken on private ground it becomes a little more cmplicated and you may need certain rtights but you'll now get 101 different views on this.

They were taken at Stanningley Rugby Club, and I obtained permission from the club to shoot the match.

Get them posted - If a parent asks for one to be removed do that out of courtesy but they're your images and you got consent.

If I wanted to sell these images would that be any different? When I say sell I mean prints to friends and family.

No that's fine. Sell to whoever you like (you may want to tell the tax man)
