Does a Canon 500mmf4 fit into a Tamrac expedition 7 rucksack?

My title says it all really, I'm getting a 500mm lens next week and currently have a tamrac expedition 7 bag and I don't know whether the lens and camera body will fit. Does anybody use this bag with the 500mm?

Just a suggestion as I use Nikon but, get the lens measurements from the web, place the body in the bag and use a piece of string the same length to help find a position that fits.

Doesn't say if thats with a body attached or separate but at least points out that a 500 F4 fits in it.

I have the Lowepro long lens case and the the 500mm just fits into the case with the lens hood reversed on the lens and camera body and 2X TC attached to the lens.

I have the Lowepro Lenstrekker and the 500f4 and 1dmk2 fit no problem with hood reversed.
